Where they differ

School commitment tracking

This is ParentDesk's biggest differentiator. Cozi doesn't have a concept of a "school commitment" — something you've promised to bring, buy, or volunteer for at a school event. In Cozi you could add it as a to-do item, but there's no dedicated tracking or surfacing before deadlines. ParentDesk's commitments tracker is purpose-built for this use case.

Teacher notes

Cozi doesn't include a teacher notes log. ParentDesk's teacher notes feature is a searchable, persistent record of parent-teacher conferences, report card observations, and school communications — organized by child, subject, and date.

Grocery lists and meal planning

Cozi has grocery list management and meal planning built in. ParentDesk doesn't — it's focused entirely on school management. If grocery management is important to you, Cozi covers that; ParentDesk does not.
