Homework Tracker for Parents Managing Multiple Kids

One kid has a science project due Thursday. Another has a book report and swim team registration to sort out. Keeping it all in your head doesn't scale. ParentDesk's task tracker keeps homework, activities, and to-dos organized per child.

Per-child task lists

Each child has their own task list. Add homework, school projects, permission slips, and anything else they need to do — separate from your own tasks.

Overdue tasks surface automatically

Missed a due date? Overdue tasks appear highlighted at the top so they don't stay buried. Nothing slips through unnoticed.

All kids in the dashboard

The daily dashboard shows pending tasks for all children in one view. Start each morning knowing exactly what's on deck for the whole family.

What parents track with the task list

Homework assignments

Log homework as it's assigned. Set a due date, mark it done when complete.

Long-term projects

School projects due in 3 weeks can get lost. Add them now, assign the due date, and they'll surface when needed.

Forms and permission slips

Needs to be signed and returned by Friday. Log it as a task so it doesn't stay only in email.

Supply needs

Need colored pencils for art class tomorrow. Log it as a task so you buy them on the way home.

Study reminders

Test on Thursday. Add a task for study time Tuesday and Wednesday.

Follow-ups

Ask the teacher about the missing grade. Check in on the group project. Things to remember for next time.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a tool for parents or for kids?

For parents. ParentDesk is a parent-facing app for tracking your kids' school life. You manage the task list; it's not designed as a student planner the child uses directly.

Can tasks have due dates and reminders?

Yes, each task can have a due date. Overdue tasks surface automatically in the dashboard. We don't send push notifications currently, but overdue items are prominently flagged when you open the app.

How is the task list different from the commitments tracker?

Tasks are things your child (or you, on their behalf) need to do — homework, projects, forms to return. Commitments are things you've promised to supply or volunteer for at school events. They're related but tracked separately because they work differently.
