1. Who can use ParentDesk

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

2. What ParentDesk provides

ParentDesk is a family organization tool for tracking children's schedules, school commitments, tasks, and teacher notes. It is provided for personal, non-commercial household use.

3. Subscriptions and billing

ParentDesk offers a free plan with feature limitations — no payment is required to use it. Paid plans (Family and Family+) unlock additional features and are billed through Stripe.

• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you select.
• Cancelling a paid plan downgrades your account to the free plan at the end of the current billing period; you do not lose access to the service.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use ParentDesk for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to access another user's data.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the service.

5. Your data

You own the data you enter into ParentDesk. We do not claim any rights to your content. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

6. Service availability

ParentDesk is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime or data backup. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we recommend keeping your own records of critical information.

7. Termination

You may stop using ParentDesk at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of ParentDesk is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of ParentDesk after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
